Who is responsible?
Holiday Rental Calculator is responsible for personal data submitted through this website. You can contact us through the contact form for any privacy request.
What data do we process?
When you send a calculation or contact request, we may process your name, email address, phone number, message, property information and the calculation you submitted. With analytics consent, we store a random visitor identifier, visited page, referral and campaign information, browser language and a shortened one-way hash of the network address.
Why do we use it?
We use submitted details to answer your request, prepare for a possible service agreement, operate and secure the website and improve it with consented statistics. The public calculation is indicative and is not used for an automated legal or contractual decision.
Cookies and local storage
Necessary browser storage remembers your language, cookie choice and calculator progress. A secure HttpOnly cookie keeps an administrator signed in. Visitor statistics are sent only after you choose “Allow analytics”. You can change your choice by clearing this site's browser data and revisiting the page.
How long is data kept?
Submitted leads are normally kept for no more than 365 days, consented visitor statistics for 90 days and security audit records for 365 days. Active customer records may be retained while the service relationship exists and longer where a legal obligation or legal claim requires it.
Who receives data?
Data is available only to authorised administrators and service providers needed for hosting, storage or email delivery. Providers must protect the data and may only use it for the agreed service. We do not sell personal data.
How is it protected?
We use access roles, strong password hashing, optional two-step verification, encrypted authentication secrets, secure sessions, rate limits, audit logging, restricted backups and encrypted HTTPS connections in production.
Your rights
Depending on the situation, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time and lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. We may ask for information to verify your identity before acting on a request.
